Olena Hrom
Olena Hrom was born in Donetsk. Since 2015, she has studied at the Bird In Flight photography school, Viktor Marushchenko's photography school, and an art business school.
Olena works at the intersection of social reporting and conceptual photography.
Hrom sees her "mission" in shedding light on the lives of people who find themselves in the "gray zone" or in areas close to military action.
Life against all odds is one of the artist's main themes.
The author is a laureate and winner of international competitions.
Finalist of the LensCulture Portrait Awards UK, YICCA International Contest of Contemporary Art, Kaunas Photo Star Lithuania, Slovak Press Photo, The Tokyo International Foto Awards.
She has exhibited in countries across Europe, in the USA, Japan, and Colombia.
