Sergiy Stakhnyk is a professional commercial photographer. Born in 1976. Originally from Ukraine, Ternopil region, from the provincial town of Berezhany.

His first serious encounter with a camera and photography occurred in his youth, when he had to take photos documenting a funeral procession within his family circle. This early episode left an imprint and understanding in his soul that photography is not just a hobby, but also a way of life and self-expression.

He received higher education at Ternopil National Economic University, specializing in economics, specifically in finance and credit. In 1999, he immigrated to Portugal, where his development as a photographer took place.
