Photographer and cinematographer. Member of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) and the MYPH art community. Laureate of the ShowOFF section at the Krakow Photomonth 2026 festival.
Earned a Master's degree in Filmmaking from the Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia (ESCAC, Spain) and a degree in Classical Philology from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Drawing on an interdisciplinary background, he builds his artistic practice at the intersection of documentary and conceptual photography. In his long-term series, he explores environments of total uncertainty: from constructing an urban legend around an elusive MacGuffin in an isolated metropolis («The Black Pearl of Beijing») to the spectral aesthetics of the front line dictated by the "non-human" optics of modern weaponry («Thermal Signatures»).
UAPP is an independent association of professional Ukrainian photographers, designed to protect their interests, support, develop and promote Ukrainian photography as an important element of national culture.
UAPP's activities span educational, social, research and cultural initiatives, as well as book publishing.
UAPP represents Ukrainian professional photography in the international photographic community and is an official member of the Federation of European Photographers (FEP) — an international organization representing more than 50,000 professional photographers in Europe and other countries around the world.
