The photo exhibition "Brave Carriers of Light" is a project carried out in the context of the presentation of a book of the same name, which reflects the life of Ukraine during the challenging period of winter blackouts in 2022-2023, as well as the courage of energy workers and every citizen of Ukraine.

The project portrays a lot of hope and values that unite us all.

A photobook dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence was published at the end of 2021 by the "Vash Avtograf" publishing house with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Book Institute. It contains more than 140 unique documentary photographs from over 60 Ukrainian photographers, arranged in chronological order, starting from the proclamation of Ukraine's independence up to the present day.

The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) became a partner and supported the publication of the book "Ways of Seeing" by British art critic John Berger at IST Publishing. This book is one of the most widely read contemporary texts on art. It was written based on the eponymous BBC series and was first published in 1973 by Penguin Books.
