Throughout the week, the enemy launched massive UAV strikes on Kharkiv, carried out deadly attacks on Chuhuiv and Zaporizhzhia, and shelled Sumy with artillery. In Sloviansk, a FAB bomb struck near a maternity ward; although no one in the hospital itself was hurt, this shelling forced the closure of the obstetric department — the last one still operating in the Donetsk region. Energy facilities, railways, and ships in the Black Sea came under fire across Ukraine. Due to enemy shelling, an energy worker in Kherson and two railway workers in the Sumy region were killed in the line of duty.
Chronicle of Russian shelling from June 8 to June 14, 2026
In the Kramatorsk community of the Donetsk region, a 29-year-old man was killed in an airstrike on the night of June 8, with residential buildings and a kindergarten damaged. During the day, the enemy launched airstrikes with three FAB-250 bombs on the central part of Sloviansk, wounding nine people, including a 17-year-old girl; an administrative building, apartment blocks, and private houses were damaged, and there was a strike near the maternity ward. During the day, the enemy attacked a residential area in Zaporizhzhia, killing two people and injuring over three dozen others, including four children; residential buildings and cars were damaged, and retail kiosks were destroyed. In Odesa, a morning attack on a public transport stop injured three citizens, including a minibus driver; two were hospitalized in serious condition, and the bus stop complex, dispatch point, and several route taxis were mangled. In Chornomorsk, a UAV struck a residential building. In the south of the Odesa region and the Dnipro region, attacks damaged energy facilities. There were strikes on Dnipro, Nikopol, Pavlohrad, and Kryvyi Rih. People were killed and injured in Nikopol, Kherson, and Konotop in the Sumy region; Konotop was under a massive UAV attack at night.
Five people were injured as a result of an enemy attack on June 9 in Zaporizhzhia; in particular, two children were injured in Vilniansk. In Zaporizhzhia, private houses were damaged, a fire broke out on the territory of a service station, and a fire occurred on Khortytsia Island. The Russian army attacked a community in the Synelnykove district of the Dnipro region with a guided aerial bomb (KAB), injuring seven people, two of whom are in the hospital in serious condition; several houses and a sports school were damaged, and the Russians attacked a fire-rescue vehicle while emergency services were responding to the aftermath of the attack. Sloviansk again suffered an enemy airstrike, as three FAB-250 bombs fell on the outskirts of the city, damaging at least 54 private houses and vehicles. In the Chernihiv region, there were hits on energy facilities, enterprises, and a car delivering bread in a border community; the driver was hospitalized.
On June 10, in the Primorskyi district of Odesa, massive night strikes damaged two residential buildings, a fire broke out in an apartment in one of the buildings, and a woman and two children aged 8 and 10 suffered from acute stress reactions. Energy and civilian infrastructure were attacked in the south of the region, and two cargo ships flying the flags of Barbados and Panama were attacked in the Black Sea. The enemy attacked te territory of the train station in Sumy with UAVs; debris from a downed drone caused a fire on the roof of a carriage on passenger train No. 143 Sumy-Rakhiv, injuring four people. During the night, the Russians attacked residential neighborhoods in the Central district of Kherson, wounding a woman. As a result of a drone attack while performing professional duties in the Korablelnyi district, an energy worker was killed and a child was injured. In the evening, the enemy attacked Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging an apartment building and a rescue unit building; a fire broke out in the building, and 12 people were injured, including a 12-year-old boy, with one woman in serious condition. In the Nikopol district, SES rescuers came under a repeated targeted FPV drone strike, damaging a fire-rescue vehicle. Since the beginning of the week, 11 regions of Ukraine have been under enemy attack, with nearly 530 drones and two guided aerial missiles deployed.
On the night of June 11, an enemy drone attacked a medical facility in the Korablelnyi district of Kherson, damaging a laboratory building and blowing out windows. In Mykolaiv, drones attacked transport infrastructure; three people were hospitalized, one in serious condition, and private houses were damaged. In the Chernihiv region, there were strikes on a private enterprise and municipal infrastructure; a drone hit a house, killing a police officer who was off duty. From the night, the enemy has been attacking the Konotop community in the Sumy region; the city is partially without gas and electricity. In the region, one person was killed and two children were injured due to a drone strike on a house. In the Kyiv region, rescuers extinguished a large-scale fire caused by a Russian UAV attack. One person died and 15 were injured in the Dnipro region, eight were wounded in Zaporizhzhia, and two districts of the city were temporarily left without power.
On the night of June 12, the Shostka community in the Sumy region suffered a massive UAV strike; the enemy attacked railway infrastructure, killing one employee, while another severely wounded worker died in the hospital, and a three-story non-residential building was destroyed. For the third time this year, the enemy shelled the Sumy community with long-range artillery, damaging residential and civilian infrastructure; six people were injured, one in serious condition. Early in the morning, the Russians dropped explosives from a drone on the territory of a market in the Korablelnyi district of Kherson, burning several shops, kiosks, and a minibus with produce; one person died in the hospital from their injuries. The enemy launched missile strikes on the south of the Odesa region, setting three private houses on fire and damaging three other houses and solar panels on the territory of an enterprise; two people were injured. During the day, a shopping center and a logistics operator's terminal in Zaporizhzhia came under enemy attack. In Mykolaiv, the buildings of a transport enterprise were damaged, and one person was hospitalized with injuries. In Mykhailo-Kotsiubynske in the Chernihiv region, a drone attack significantly damaged a local lyceum building, causing a fire; a school bus and at least six private houses were damaged, and one house was destroyed.
On June 13, the Russians launched an airstrike on Sloviansk, wounding six people, including a nine-year-old boy; two women were hospitalized in serious condition, and 24 apartment buildings, an educational institution, and vehicles were damaged. There was a UAV hit on a truck on the outskirts of the city, and the driver was hospitalized with serious injuries. In Kherson, the enemy launched an airstrike on an enterprise, setting two warehouses on fire, and shelled the city's Dniprovskyi district with artillery, damaging an educational institution. In Mykolaiv and the surrounding area, three people were wounded, two were hospitalized, and a private house was damaged. As a result of an airstrike in the Dnipro region, a fire broke out at a market, injuring nine people; six were hospitalized, one man in serious condition. In Sloviansk, as of the morning, there were three dead; over the week in the Donetsk region, six civilian deaths have been confirmed. In the Sumy region, three people were injured.
Shelling of Chuhuiv and enemy attacks on Kharkiv
Since the beginning of the week, the Russian army has been terrorizing Kharkiv and the region, using various types of weaponry. On Monday, June 8, a drone strike was recorded on the roof of a five-story building in Kharkiv; warehouse premises, railway infrastructure, and an unused building were damaged. "Ekonomichna Pravda" reported that a Russian UAV hit a Ukrposhta sorting hub, damaging some of the equipment. Another dronestruckthe roof of a "Nova Poshta" depot, causing a fire and the partial collapse of structures.
In the Zolochiv community, Monday's airstrikes destroyed a culture house and a clinic, and damaged a healthcare facility, an administrative building, private houses, and shops.
On the night of June 9, Kharkiv was under massive attack; there were 16 casualties in the city, including a pregnant woman and children, girls aged 11 and 16, and a one-year-old boy. The children suffered from acute stress reactions, and six adults were injured, four of whom were hospitalized in moderate condition. In Kharkiv, a 16-story residential building and a business center building were damaged, along with nine multi-story buildings, a municipal enterprise building, an administrative building, a church, a café, and 37 cars; there were hits on the territory of an enterprise and a repair workshop.
On the night of June 9, the Russians struck Chuhuiv with missiles and drones, killing three people, including a 22-year-old pregnant woman, and injuring six others. Residential houses, a shop, four garages, and cars were damaged. There was significant damage in the Bogodukhiv district, where one person was injured; in total, 25 people were reported injured in the region.
Over several days, Kharkiv was under a massive UAV attack — just at dawn on June 10, 26 strikes were recorded with reports of hits, including on civilian transport. As of the morning of June 11, shelling in the Kharkiv region resulted in one death and nearly three dozen injured, including a child; multi-story and private houses, railway infrastructure, warehouses, a garage, and a dozen cars were damaged.
