On October 6, around 6:46 a.m., explosions were heard in Kharkiv. The attacks were in the Kiev and Osnovyan districts of the city. Previously, the Russian military struck Iskander missiles.


As of 14:30 as of the shelling of Kharkov, 30 people were injured, 12 of whom were hospitalized. The head of the regional military administration Oleg Syenegubov said that a ten-year-old boy died. The body of the child was extracted from under the rubble of a residential building in the Osnovyan district of the city. The search for bodies under the rubble continues.
