After noon on Sept. 24, 2024, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with aerial bombs. Today,Russian bombs targeted a residential building, a bread factory, and astadium.


As of6:00 p.m., three people have been killed and 31 injured. “In the Kyivskyidistrict, six people were injured in a residential building. The floors of thebuilding collapsed from the eighth down to the third,” Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote.

A rescueoperation is ongoing at the impact sites. Terekhov noted that 82 people livedin the most damaged entrance of the building in the Kyivskyi district. Rescuersare currently trying to establish contact with all of them.
“Oneperson may be under the rubble of the high-rise building. Debris removal isongoing. Rescuers, special search-and-rescue dogs, and all necessaryspecialized services are involved,” Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov said.

Syniehubovsaid the youngest injured person is a 17-year-old girl, and the oldest is an87-year-old woman. Most of the injured are in moderate condition. Four peopleare in serious condition. Three people are in operating rooms.
Accordingto law enforcement, the enemy fired eight KAB-250 guided aerialbombs at Kharkiv’s residential districts today. Two bombs hit the territory ofthe Tsykuny territorial hromada. Six more impacts were recorded in Kharkiv:Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Saltivskyi, and Nemyshlianskyi districts.


As areminder, on Sept. 15 Russian forces hit a multi-story building in Kharkiv with guided aerialbombs. The attack left 41 people injured, including four children.
