The deadline for submissions to the Rotterdam Photo 2026 competition is January 6, 2026, at 00:59. This year’s edition is dedicated to the inner experience of war and its echoes within the artistic consciousness. The W. Eugene Smith Grant

One of the most prestigious grant programs for photographers is named after American photojournalist William Eugene Smith, who covered World War II and joined the Magnum agency. To apply, you need to send your biography and resume (up to two pages), a project description, and up to 40 of your photos.
