Open reception bids for grant support from Ukrainian Warchive for Ukrainian photographers and photographers documenting life during Russia's war against Ukraine. The program is aimed at documentary and artistic projects that have already begun. On a competitive basis, the archive team will select five authors who will receive a grant of 1000 euros.

Authors who have Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine during martial law and work on the territory of Ukraine can apply.

The results of the competition will be announced in the summer of 2024.

The Ian Parry Photojournalism Grant 2024

The Ian Parry Photojournalism Grant is an international photo contest for young photographers under the age of 24 or those studying in a full-time photography course. Participants must submit a portfolio of 12 photos and a clear project proposal.

Each winner will receive £10,000 for their chosen project. Publication of images by media partner of The Guardian. Canon equipment loan for 1 year for the IP grant winner to complete the proposed project. Winners are also offered training on military conflicts and body armor.

Vital Impacts Environmental Photography Grants for making positive changes to our planet.

Organizers offer one grant totaling $20,000 and six grants totaling $5,000 each, which are aimed at supporting documentary projects that highlight environmental, solutions-driven narratives.

“It is critical that grant recipients focus on documenting history in their own community. Our goal is to support local journalism, so we specifically target photographers who live in the communities they seek to attract attention to. We will not consider applications from photographers outside the relevant community or country,” the statement said.

Recipients will have the opportunity to work on their projects for twelve months, bringing these amazing stories to life.

HARIBAN AWARD — International Collotype Competition 2024 

Hariban Awards invites Professionals and amateurs submit black and white photos to get a chance to win. The winner of the grand prize will visit a two-week residency in Kyoto, Japan, where he will collaborate with Benrido master printers.

The kalotype prints of the 2024 Grand Prix winner will be presented at a personal exhibition in the spring of next year after the residency is completed.
