Editions The Kyiv Independent announced the constant reception of ideas for creating photo stories about the military and social reality of Ukraine. Each month, the editorial board will select one project that will receive full editorial support and publication on an international platform with a million audience.
The initiative is supported Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP), inviting authors and authors to submit their projects. Collaboration is looking for photographers and photographers with deep, original ideas that require trust, time and immersion.
“We are open to those who are willing to work with topics that do not boil down to fast-paced news stories, but tell complex, human and long stories,” the Kyiv Independent said.
The editorial office promises not only publication, but also professional support from the journalists of the publication and decent pay for work.
What topics are particularly interesting to The Kyiv Independent:
- unique photo stories about the war;
- the lives of Ukrainians in the rear, at the front, in evacuation or after return;
- social changes brought about by war;
- long-term and research photo projects;
- sensitive topics that require special trust.
