A fiery river of fuel covered the Nemyshlyan district of Kharkov on the night of February 10. There was an air alarm in the city, there was an explosion, and then a fire broke out.
Around midnight, the Russians launched UAVs on Kharkov from the territory of the Belgorod region. As a result, at least 15 private houses, as well as sheds, garages and cars, were caught in the fire. A residential neighborhood near an industrial zone in the southeastern part of Kharkiv burned down. The Russians aimed the strike drones at the fuel tanks nearby. It all took off and spilled out onto the surrounding street. Since then, the area of the fire reached 3,700 square meters.

“A difficult night for Kharkov. Seven people were killed, including three children. We have information about three injured. In total, almost half of the street burned down“, — informed by the mayor Igor Terekhov. 50 Kharkiv residents were evacuated, among them two children. Four people had to be rescued from houses engulfed by fire.

In one house, five people were burned alive “Family. Preliminarily among the dead are children of four and seven years old and an infant“,— said the head of the investigative department of the GUNP in Kharkiv region Serhiy Bolvinov. He also reported that the burning temperature was such that the bones and body of the infant turned almost to ashes: “Suppose that the mother held the children, hugging and pressing against the breast“.
All relevant services work at the impact site. Utility workers disassemble debris in the combustion chamber. In some places, the SNS continues to fight the fire and search for possible injured people.

In addition, investigators and forensics are working at the scene of the tragedy, documenting Russia's war crime and taking DNA samples to identify the bodies.

The city hall promised to provide housing to all those who, as a result of the terrorist attack in Russia, were without a roof over their heads.
