Armed forces of the Russian Federation launched missile strikes on Zaporizhia, Kharkiv and the suburbs of Dnipro since the morning of October 18. This is reported Social News.

According to preliminary data, four people died in Zaporizhzhia, a 67-year-old woman suffered shrapnel wounds in Kharkiv, and in Dnipro the number of victims increased to 4 people. In Zaporozhye, there is a threat of collapse of a house that was hit by a Russian missile.

Now, in order to continue the dismantling of the rubble, a special crane supports the hinged structure, that is, part of the roof. This is necessary in order to protect the rescuers and continue the rescue and search work, reports Socialne with reference to the spokeswoman of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhya region Yulia Barysheva.

Photographers Elena Tita and Ekaterina Klochko filmed the scene of the attack in the center of Zaporizhia. She says that the weather is good in the city today, the center is crowded.

“I heard the explosions at about 01:30, a little later I learned that the rocket hit an apartment building and immediately went to the scene with my colleague. The house in the very center of the city, near there is a temple, in which all the windows were knocked out. It was already known about two dead people, three were searched under the rubble by rescuers. Search and rescue work was complicated by the fact that the structures of the house could collapse at any time. Unfortunately, the residents of the house, who were considered missing, died - their bodies were retrieved by rescuers. As a result of the S-300 rocket hitting a residential building, five people were killed, five more in hospitals. Among the dead are young spouses. The report wanted to show the heroic work of the employees of the State Emergency Service and the emergency and rescue service, who risk their lives to save people,” Kateryna Klochko said.
“The most emotional thing for me today is a very contrasting reality. Good weather today, sun, we are in the city center. Near the street, where there is a lot of transport, crowds of people, because there is a market nearby. The building is very beautiful, had such beautiful elements, decor. Children smile at me in the camera, and behind the ruins, dead people. This is such a great contrast,” says Olena Titarenko.

Local historian Roman Akbash told Elena that the house was not an architectural monument.

“This is a post-war building, the first half of the 1950s, the most remarkable building in the area and one of the works of the architects of the Kharkiv “City Budproekt” under the leadership of the outstanding architect Georgy Wegman,” the local historian explained.
