Наслідки чергових російських атак — у репортажах з Одеси, Херсона, Дніпра та Києва
У столиці триває ліквідація наслідків масштабної ракетно-дронової атаки, яка забрала життя сімох громадян і спричинила руйнування й пожежі. Жорстокого удару зазнало місто Дніпро, де загинуло 16 мирних жителів, ворог повторно атакував місто та район просто в день жалоби. На Донеччині чергові авіаудари по Краматорську та Дружківці принесли нові смерті. Окупанти кожен день обстрілювали Херсон з артилерії й безпілотників, а також дистанційно мінували території. Потерпали обласні центри та громади у прифронтових і прикордонних регіонах.

Photo-exhibition “Coverage” by Mikhail Palinchak will open in Kyiv on January 18
On January 18 at 17 o'clock in the Small Gallery of the Art Arsenal, photographer, member of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers Mykhailo Palinchak will present a selection of photographs entitled “Coverage”. Houses destroyed by air bombs, torture sites of executions and mass burials in Kherson, Izyum, Bucha, Yagidny and at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant — all 42 pictures were taken from the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Silence and hope amid darkness and pain. The aftermath of the rocket strike in Dnipro in photographs by Yevgeny Zavgorodny
On January 14, 2023, the Russian army hit the Dnieper with missiles. The rocket hit an apartment building at 3:30 p.m., when many people were at home. As a result of the attack, two entrances of the multi-storey building were destroyed — 72 apartments were destroyed, more than 230 were damaged. 46 people were killed, including six children. 11 people are still missing. Three days of mourning were introduced in Dnipro.

On November 11, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Kherson, the only regional center of Ukraine, captured by the Russian military since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. On the central square of the city, on the side of the streets and at the entrance to Kherson, local residents greeted the Ukrainian military. On that day there were many hugs, shouts of “Glory to Ukraine!” and tears of happiness.
