У ніч на 15 червня російські війська здійснили масовану атаку на Київ, Дніпро та Харків, застосувавши ракети й безпілотники проти житлових будинків та історичних пам'яток. Внаслідок цілеспрямованого російського удару спалахнула велика пожежа на даху Успенського собору Києво-Печерської Лаври. У Харкові під час ліквідації наслідків повторний обстріл забрав життя п’ятьох рятувальників та фахівця із цивільного захисту населення Харківської ОВА. Міста Запоріжжя, Херсон, Слов'янськ та Краматорськ і надалі перебувають під щоденним вогнем окупантів, цього тижня авіація РФ також тероризувала Харків та Суми. Від російської агресії постраждали і тварини — ворог обстріляв зоопарк у Харкові та кінно-спортивну школу на Сумщині.

Загибель вагітної жінки, двох залізничниць та енергетика: огляд ворожих атак по Україні за останні сім днів
Протягом тижня ворог завдав масованих ударів БпЛА по Харкову, здійснив смертоносні атаки на Чугуїв та Запоріжжя, обстріляв з артилерії Суми. У Слов'янську було влучання ФАБ неподалік пологового будинку, і хоча в самій лікарні ніхто не постраждав, цей обстріл змусив ухвалити рішення про закриття акушерського відділення — останнього, яке ще працювало на Донеччині. Під ударами в Україні опинилися об'єкти енергетики, залізниці та судна в Чорному морі. Через ворожі обстріли під час виконання службових обов'язків загинули енергетик у Херсоні та двоє працівниць залізниці на Сумщині.

«Україна перетворює Херсон на військову зону», «містяни живуть у стані постійного тиску та страху», про це з показною турботою повідомляє російська державна інформагенція РИА «Новости», цитуючи так званого губернатора Херсонської області Володимира Сальдо. Колаборант Сальдо пішов на співпрацю з владою РФ та очолив окуповану Херсонщину, він є головним рупором ворожої пропаганди у регіоні.

Наслідки чергових російських атак — у репортажах з Одеси, Херсона, Дніпра та Києва
У столиці триває ліквідація наслідків масштабної ракетно-дронової атаки, яка забрала життя сімох громадян і спричинила руйнування й пожежі. Жорстокого удару зазнало місто Дніпро, де загинуло 16 мирних жителів, ворог повторно атакував місто та район просто в день жалоби. На Донеччині чергові авіаудари по Краматорську та Дружківці принесли нові смерті. Окупанти кожен день обстрілювали Херсон з артилерії й безпілотників, а також дистанційно мінували території. Потерпали обласні центри та громади у прифронтових і прикордонних регіонах.

Shelling of the Retroville shopping mall. The aftermath of the strike on Kyiv in photos by Pavlo Petrov and Oleg Petrasyuk
On the evening of March 20, 2022, Russian forces launched several strikes on the Podilskyi district of Kyiv. They shelled the Retroville shopping and entertainment center. Part of the shopping center was destroyed, cars parked nearby, a fitness club and a business center. Nearby residential buildings, schools and kindergartens suffered significant damage. Eight people were killed that day.

The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) in cooperation with The Ukrainians published a special issue of the magazine Reporters, which brought together the strongest documentary footage of the Ukrainian struggle for freedom. The issue includes 155 pictures from leading photographers and photographers of the country, as well as texts by Dmitry Kuleba, Alexandra Matviychuk, Sergey Plokhiy, Vladimir Yermolenko, Elena Styazhkina and Olesya Khromeychuk.

“Sometimes a camera does more harm than an automatic weapon.” The evacuation of civilians from Irpin through the eyes of Serhiy Mykhalchuk
The evacuation of the peaceful residents of Irpen was filmed by many Ukrainian and foreign photographers. Today, the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers publishes photos and memories of Ukrainian documentary photographer and cinematographer Serhiy Mykhalchuk. In late February and March 2022, Russian troops attempted to capture Kiev. To do this, they needed to take control of the towns closest to the capital — Gostomel, Buchu and Irpin.

“At that moment I was filming the Olympics, and in order to return to Beijing, I had to go through quarantine. Actually, the war started when I was still in quarantine, so I could not immediately leave for Ukraine, - recalls the photographer. - For me there was no question of going to Ukraine or not, I immediately decided that I was going. I couldn't fly directly to Ukraine because the airspace was already closed.” Roman says that the road to Kiev was very long, I had to overcome thousands of kilometers and several countries.

Russian troops planned to capture the capital in two to three days, but their plan failed. Kiev resisted, instead the Russians occupied part of the area and approached the capital close to the capital. There were fierce battles near Kiev.
