Wounded Kharkiv — the city through the eyes of those who document the consequences of Russian attacks for Ukrainian and international media
Burned houses and cars, shattered windows, bloodstains on the asphalt, bodies lying covered on the ground — these are the wounds on the body of the city. Every shelling, every “arrival,” every consequence of a Russian attack harms people, and with them everything they have built over a lifetime. Beloved places disappear, historical architecture is destroyed, high‑rises turn into abandoned ghost buildings, and the city skyline loses its familiar shape.
