Одеса у темряві й атаки по морю: тиждень російської агресії на Півдні України
Російські дронові атаки від початку тижня охопили прифронтові та прикордонні регіони. В Охтирці на Сумщині росіяни поцілили по багатоповерхівці, у Шостці атакували спортивну школу, де в той час займалися діти. На тижні ворог повторно вдарив по Фастову в Київській області. Масована ракетно-дронова атака прийшлася на Кременчук Полтавської області. Загалом найбільше атак росіяни здійснили на критичну інфраструктуру півдня України. Фоторепортажі з Одеси після російських обстрілів підготували Олександр Гіманов і Тимофій Мельников.

«Миротворство» по-російськи: ракети на Дніпро, бомби на Слов'янськ
Поки світові лідери ведуть перемовини про «швидкий мир» в Україні, Росія докладає ще більше зусиль, щоб нищити українські мирні міста. Від початку тижня під інтенсивними обстрілами прифронтові Краматорськ, Слов'янськ та Херсон. У Дніпрі від ракетного удару загинули четверо мирних жителів. У ніч на 6 грудня в День святого Миколая росіяни масовано вдарили по Україні дронами та ракетами. Ворог продовжує модернізувати свою вбивчу зброю. Росіяни тепер оснащують «шахеди» ракетами класу «повітря-повітря», розповіла «Українська правда» з посиланням на фахівця з радіотехнологій Сергія (Флеша) Бескрестнова. Ці ракети призначені для ураження літаків тактичної авіації та вертольотів, які знешкоджують «шахеди».

Mstislav Chernov will present his new film at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival
The film “2000 Meters to Andriivka” by director and founder of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers Mstislav Chernov will be shown at the opening ceremony of the 78th Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, May 13. The film will be part of the “Day of Ukraine” program dedicated to the Russian-Ukrainian war. The program is organized by the festival in collaboration with France Télévisions and Brut.

A photo project, a film, a book, 50 interviews in a year. Serhii Melnychenko has completed the grant initiative “Under the Dnipro.”
During the year Nikolaev photographer Sergey Melnichenko worked on a large-scale documentary project “Under the Dnieper”, implemented with the support of the German Alexander Tutsek-Stiftung Foundation. Traveling through cities along the Dnieper — from Kherson to Kiev — he gathered more than 50 testimonies of Ukrainians who experienced various experiences during the full-scale Russian invasion: from victims of sexual violence in the occupation, people who live daily under shelling, volunteers and rescuers soldiers, to soldiers who returned from captivity. The project combines a photobook, a documentary film and a photo project, creating an in-depth chronicle of the country's life during the war.
