Anniversary of the Olenivka terrorist attack
The tragedy in Olenivka occurred on the night of July 29: an explosion rang out in the barrack of Correctional Colony No. 120. The day before, Ukrainian prisoners of war, including defenders of Azovstal, had been deliberately moved there. Ukraine recognized this attack as a terrorist act. As reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General in the summer of 2024, investigative actions were still ongoing without charges being filed. This war crime claimed the lives of more than 50 people, and over 140 were injured.

The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers (UAPP) in cooperation with Ukrainischer Verein Mainz e.V. and photographer David Yampolsky implemented a photo exhibition dedicated to the tragedy of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It was presented in 2022 at the Gutleut Gallery, in Mainz, Germany. The Kyiv Photo School and the National Society of Photographers of Ukraine also participated in the organization of the exhibition.

Virtual gallery: Unbreakable. Chronicles of the war in Ukraine
In the project, we explore the chronicles of the war in Ukraine, witnessed by dozens of Ukrainian photographers. Their photos helped create a unique artistic space that will become a reference point of a new era in the history of Ukraine and show it to the world. The virtual gallery presents both famous pictures that have already become part of world history, and those that have not yet been published. Each photo is a symbol of struggle, unity and indestructibility of the Ukrainian people.
