Russian propaganda in action: how the Hungarian government used Kremlin narratives in its election campaign
In the pro‑Russian information space, baseless accusations were spread that Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate, with Brussels’ support, was controlling the Hungarian opposition party *Tisza*. This conspiracy theory served as a tool to accuse Ukraine and the European Union of attempting to illegally change power in Hungary. The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers publishes key anti‑Ukrainian narratives with a Hungarian focus, while Maksym Kishka’s photo report from Hungary documents the public mood in the country with factual precision.

A tragic week for Ukraine: brutal Russian attacks on peaceful cities and an armed assault on people in the capital
Russia turned Easter Week into a time of relentless airstrikes. The most brutal and destructive attacks targeted Dnipro, Kyiv, and Odesa. Around one hundred civilians were injured during the massive assault of April 15–16, when Russia launched more than 700 aerial targets. Russian drone and missile strikes claimed the lives of children in three cities: in Cherkasy, an 8‑year‑old boy was killed on a playground; in Kyiv, a ballistic missile killed a 12‑year‑old child in bed; in Chernihiv, a teenager was found dead under the rubble of a collapsed building. During the week, Russians cynically attacked medics and hospitals, bombed a reservoir, and carried out assaults on civilian vessels. Over the weekend, tragedy struck in Kyiv: six people were killed in a shooting. Among the wounded was a boy whose parents were victims of the assailant.

Without a final period. Vladyslav Krasnoshchok’s photobook “Documentation of the War”
Vladyslav Krasnoshchok’s photobook “Documentation of the War” includes photographs taken from 2022 to 2025. However, the book does not follow a strict chronology. It is structured as the movement of a human gaze and experience: the viewer first observes the war from a certain distance, then finds themselves at its very epicenter, and finally — remains alone with it. It is a path from the distance of a shared space to an intensely close presence that leads toward an inner quiet. There is no final period here, because the war is still ongoing.

Odesa at the epicenter of Russian attacks
The week once again became a trial for Odesa due to Russian shelling: the enemy carried out three massive attacks on the energy system, destroying residential buildings and architectural landmarks. Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy region, Kharkiv region, and Dnipropetrovsk region also suffered from enemy fire. There were losses among those who save lives and restore power — three energy workers, four police officers, and a medic were killed. The week did not pass without massive attacks across all of Ukraine. On Tuesday, Russia struck 12 regions. The week ended with a combined attack on Kyiv region and a terrorist attack in Lviv.

How the Kremlin Releases Propaganda Against the Defenders of Donetsk Airport Every Year
In 2012, the International Airport “Donetsk” named after Sergei Prokofiev is a new runway, built for the European Championship, and the tallest control tower in Ukraine. Two years later — the gate to Donetsk, a strategic building and a fortification. It has been 11 years since the occupation forces blew up the floor in the new terminal of Donetsk airport on January 20, 2015 during the fighting to keep it. Many Ukrainian soldiers were killed. Every year, on January 20, Ukraine officially celebrates the Day of Remembrance of the defenders of Donetsk airport, bowing their heads in front of their feat. The Russians destroyed the tower, but it lives on as a symbol of the unbreakable will of the Ukrainian defenders, stronger than concrete.

Week of mourning: families with children under Russian fire
The Russian army continues to kill and injure Ukrainian children. In the middle of the night, Russian forces deliberately strike residential neighborhoods in cities and towns, taking the lives of the younger generation and, in some cases, entire families. The youngest injured child this week — an infant in Dnipro — is not even a month old. This week became one of mourning for Bohodukhiv in the Kharkiv region, as well as for Kramatorsk and Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. Children were wounded in the Sumy region, in Zaporizhzhia, and in Kherson. In addition, Russian forces attacked young Ukrainians in a hospital and a kindergarten. Odesa has been under fire almost daily; the enemy continues to terrorize the southern part of the region, attempting to create a severe situation with electricity and heating. The Russian army also launched massive strikes on Kyiv and Dnipro, and enemy weapons reached the western regions of the country as well.
