У ніч на 15 червня російські війська здійснили масовану атаку на Київ, Дніпро та Харків, застосувавши ракети й безпілотники проти житлових будинків та історичних пам'яток. Внаслідок цілеспрямованого російського удару спалахнула велика пожежа на даху Успенського собору Києво-Печерської Лаври. У Харкові під час ліквідації наслідків повторний обстріл забрав життя п’ятьох рятувальників та фахівця із цивільного захисту населення Харківської ОВА. Міста Запоріжжя, Херсон, Слов'янськ та Краматорськ і надалі перебувають під щоденним вогнем окупантів, цього тижня авіація РФ також тероризувала Харків та Суми. Від російської агресії постраждали і тварини — ворог обстріляв зоопарк у Харкові та кінно-спортивну школу на Сумщині.

Загибель вагітної жінки, двох залізничниць та енергетика: огляд ворожих атак по Україні за останні сім днів
Протягом тижня ворог завдав масованих ударів БпЛА по Харкову, здійснив смертоносні атаки на Чугуїв та Запоріжжя, обстріляв з артилерії Суми. У Слов'янську було влучання ФАБ неподалік пологового будинку, і хоча в самій лікарні ніхто не постраждав, цей обстріл змусив ухвалити рішення про закриття акушерського відділення — останнього, яке ще працювало на Донеччині. Під ударами в Україні опинилися об'єкти енергетики, залізниці та судна в Чорному морі. Через ворожі обстріли під час виконання службових обов'язків загинули енергетик у Херсоні та двоє працівниць залізниці на Сумщині.

Collaborator Saldo chose to cooperate with the Russian authorities and headed the occupied Kherson region; he is the main mouthpiece of enemy propaganda in the region.

Consequences of the latest Russian attacks — in reports from Odesa, Kherson, Dnipro, and Kyiv
In the capital, the aftermath of a massive missile‑drone attack is still being eliminated; it claimed the lives of seven civilians and caused destruction and fires. The city of Dnipro suffered a brutal strike, with 16 civilians killed; the enemy attacked the city and district again on the very day of mourning. In Donetsk region, new airstrikes on Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka brought more deaths. Occupiers shelled Kherson daily with artillery and drones, as well as remotely mined territories. Regional centers and communities in frontline and border areas also suffered.

Destroyed monuments and burned equipment. Liberated Trostyanets in photographs by Oleg Pereverzev
The Russian army captured the city of Trostyanets in the Sumy region at the beginning of a full-scale invasion — on March 1, 2022. The Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated the city from Russian troops less than a month later — on March 26. Today, the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers publishes photos of Oleg Pereverziev, taken in the spring of 2022 in Trostyanets. The photographer was one of the first to arrive in the liberated city and filmed the consequences of the Russian occupation.

Figure in the snow. Dismantling of the monument to Shchors on the photos of Evgeny Zavgorodny
Today, December 9, a monument to one of the Bolshevik leaders Nikolay Shchors was dismantled on Taras Shevchenko Boulevard in Kyiv. Specialists of KP “Kyivblagoustria” worked on the dismantling of the seven-ton structure for almost seven hours. Photographer Yevhenii Zavgorodny documented the process of descending the figure from the pedestal to the ground.
