Після повномасштабного вторгнення російської армії в Україну панорама міст, розташованих поблизу лінії фронту, вже ніколи не буде, як колись. Це точка неповернення до минулого життя: люди гинуть, виїжджають, будівлі спалює ворожа зброя. Сталість війни перетворює українські міста на напрямки. Одне з таких міст — місто-герой Оріхів. Вже чотири роки Сили оборони України тримають фронт на цьому напрямку. Лінія бойового зіткнення досить розмита й динамічна, від неї до Оріхова приблизно 7–10 кілометрів згідно з даними DeepState. Видання «Укрінформ» повідомляє, що російські підрозділи отримали завдання, якомога ближче підійти до Оріхова та закріпитися на його околицях.

Обстріляні Дружківка та Харків. Які ще міста постраждали від російської агресії цього тижня
З початком весни продовжуються російські атаки на залізничну та портову інфраструктуру України. Були влучання у залізничні підстанції, вагони й мости, а також пошкоджено цивільне судно у порту на півдні Одещини. Ракети, дрони й авіабомби щодня накривали Дружківку, Слов'янськ, Краматорськ. Вночі 7 березня росіяни здійснили п'яту з початку року масовану атаку на енергообʼєкти України. Трагічною ця ніч стала для Харкова — попередньо російська ракета «Изделие-30» зруйнувала цілий під'їзд, вбивши 11 людей, зокрема двох дітей.

His new film, 2000 Meters to Andriivka, received three awards: the grand prize of the Docu/World international program, the grand prize of the Rights Now! section, and the Audience Choice Award.

A week of systemic terror: fifty explosions in one night in Kharkiv and one of the most massive attacks on peaceful cities in Ukraine
From June 2 to June 8, 2025, Russia carried out one of the largest waves of air attacks since the beginning of the full-scale war. Missiles, drones, and bombs hit Ukrainian cities almost every day. Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Lutsk, Chernihiv, Pryluky, Rivne, and dozens of frontline communities were hit. The shelling killed civilians, including children and rescuers. Dozens of people were injured. ‍

On June 6, Ukraine celebrates Journalist's Day, a professional holiday for media professionals, which this year was overshadowed by tragic events. As a result of the massive Russian attack, representatives of the Kyiv State Emergency Service's press service were injured, including photographer, press officer, and member of the Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers Pavlo Petrov, who was one of the first to arrive at the scene of the attack along with rescuers. Three firefighters were killed in the aftermath of the Russian attack, and 18 other rescuers were injured.
