The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers, together with legal experts from the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UAPI/IP Office), has initiated the development of a suite of standard contract templates for photographers to use in their daily work. This package of documents will include licensing agreements, agreements on the assignment of economic rights, as well as agreements on the payment of royalties and author's remuneration. It is essential to adapt these templates to various fields of photography, as each niche has its own unique needs and operational specifics that must be addressed from a legal perspective. In addition, practical guidelines are planned to assist photographers in navigating any potential copyright disputes or challenges.

Daily terror against civilians: consequences of strikes on Kyiv, Boryspil, Odesa, and Kramatorsk
The beginning of the school year in Ukraine turned into a week of exhausting and brutal attacks. The most massive shelling targeted the Kyiv region, Odesa region, and frontline communities of Donetsk. This week among the affected sites in the capital: a railway depot, a higher education institution, and the Security Service of Ukraine building; UNESCO World Heritage sites also suffered damage. During the strikes, specialists from emergency and municipal services, as well as workers from the metallurgical sector, were killed: a State Emergency Service rescuer, two police officers, a utility worker, six railway workers, and five metallurgists. Units of the State Emergency Service and Air Defense Forces worked continuously under heavy smoke and constant risk of repeated strikes.

The MYPH School of Conceptual and Art Photography is launching a bilingual periodical titled “525”. The magazine is dedicated to contemporary Ukrainian photography and its place within the broader context of global visual culture. The first issue will be published already this November. Above all, “525” aims to become a platform for young Ukrainian photographers, while also engaging international authors in dialogue to strengthen the presence of Ukrainian photography on the global market.

Most oblasts implemented rolling blackout schedules, and even industrial operations faced restrictions. Throughout the week, Russia terrorized Odesa, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The situation with shelling in Donetsk region and in Kherson remained consistently severe. The culmination of the workweek was a massive attack on Kyiv, where residential districts came under enemy fire. The State Emergency Service once again warns: after enemy drone attacks, rescuers find cluster elements near UAV debris, and these can detonate unpredictably.
