Наслідки чергових російських атак — у репортажах з Одеси, Херсона, Дніпра та Києва
У столиці триває ліквідація наслідків масштабної ракетно-дронової атаки, яка забрала життя сімох громадян і спричинила руйнування й пожежі. Жорстокого удару зазнало місто Дніпро, де загинуло 16 мирних жителів, ворог повторно атакував місто та район просто в день жалоби. На Донеччині чергові авіаудари по Краматорську та Дружківці принесли нові смерті. Окупанти кожен день обстрілювали Херсон з артилерії й безпілотників, а також дистанційно мінували території. Потерпали обласні центри та громади у прифронтових і прикордонних регіонах.

Ilovaisk tragedy: propaganda, narratives, memories, photographs.
Ilovaisk is a city in eastern Ukraine whose name is forever linked to tragic events in the country’s history. The Ukrainian military operation in Ilovaisk from August 18 to 29, known as the Battle of Ilovaisk, aimed to cut off a strategic route used by the militants, but ended fatally. Ukrainian soldiers were encircled. While attempting to withdraw through a proposed “green corridor,” columns of Ukrainian troops were fired upon. The Ukrainian advance came to a halt. The Minsk agreements were then signed in Belarus.

Reports of the border breach appeared on 6 August 2024 in Kremlin media, which claimed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had entered the Sudzha District of Russia’s Kursk region.

Russian artillery struck a supermarket in Kostyantynivka. The tragedy is shown in the photographs by Serhii Nuzhnenko and Roman Pylypii.
On August 9, 2024, at about 11:05, the Russian army shelled Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region with tube artillery. The Russians struck a local supermarket. The number of victims of the Russian attack in Kostyantynivka reached 14 people. Forty‑four people were injured. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
