The Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers, together with legal experts from the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UAPI/IP Office), has initiated the development of a suite of standard contract templates for photographers to use in their daily work. This package of documents will include licensing agreements, agreements on the assignment of economic rights, as well as agreements on the payment of royalties and author's remuneration. It is essential to adapt these templates to various fields of photography, as each niche has its own unique needs and operational specifics that must be addressed from a legal perspective. In addition, practical guidelines are planned to assist photographers in navigating any potential copyright disputes or challenges.

Daily terror against civilians: consequences of strikes on Kyiv, Boryspil, Odesa, and Kramatorsk
The beginning of the school year in Ukraine turned into a week of exhausting and brutal attacks. The most massive shelling targeted the Kyiv region, Odesa region, and frontline communities of Donetsk. This week among the affected sites in the capital: a railway depot, a higher education institution, and the Security Service of Ukraine building; UNESCO World Heritage sites also suffered damage. During the strikes, specialists from emergency and municipal services, as well as workers from the metallurgical sector, were killed: a State Emergency Service rescuer, two police officers, a utility worker, six railway workers, and five metallurgists. Units of the State Emergency Service and Air Defense Forces worked continuously under heavy smoke and constant risk of repeated strikes.

November 22, 2004 — the twentieth anniversary of the Orange Revolution, which began as a protest against the falsification of the presidential elections in Ukraine in 2004. The event received its name from the color used by the supporters of presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko and the opposition party "Our Ukraine". In contrast, the supporters of Viktor Yanukovych were associated with the white-and-blue colors of their symbols.

“On both sides of the road lie burned‑out cars containing the bodies of locals who tried to evacuate.” The frontline city of Kurakhove through the lens of Anton Shtuka.
Kurakhove, a town in the Pokrovsk district in eastern Ukraine, has become trapped by the fighting and is now surrounded on three sides by Russian forces. The enemy is just three kilometers away, and around a thousand residents remain in the city. Without water, electricity, or heating, people survive in the basements of apartment buildings, hoping for the day when this nightmare will finally end.

Her project “Eruption” took the second place in the competition of the Nikolaev school of photography “MYPH” and caused a resonance among viewers and critics. She created more than 40,000 red-winged beetles — sculpted them and painted them by hand. We talked with Olga about the idea of the project, the beetles themselves, photos and finding ourselves.
